This home is located in beautiful Mercer Island with a gorgeous view. It was built in the mid 90’s with a more traditional, Mediterranean style kitchen featuring cherry oak cabinets with extravagant crown-moldings. Steven disliked the brown and gloomy look. We thought a modern style was more suitable for this business professional. To brighten up the space, we installed recessed can lights in the ceiling. In addition, we replaced the dark tile floors and carpet with a light shade of engineered hardwood consistently throughout the main floor. White baseboards, window and door frames were also added. For the countertops, we chose a warm shade of grey quartz for the perimeter cabinets and a white marble-patterned quartz for the island. This kitchen also featured two-tone cabinets, giving a custom look and a sense of elegance. The island is the centerpiece of the kitchen so we added waterfall quartz to both ends bringing it to perfection. This is the beautiful living space that Steven desired for and we are so happy to be the team to help him achieve this vision.
