When we first met Mr. & Mrs. Walker, they just moved to Seattle to be closer to their grandchildren. The house they moved into really needed a basic kitchen facelift. After the initial meeting, it was clear that the couple wanted a functional space with lots of storage. This required a full kitchen remodel. They wanted a warm yet contemporary style kitchen; a welcoming place for family and friends. We created a spacious quartz island that gave them increased storage and a spot to enjoy quiet breakfasts. The off-white glass tile backsplash complemented the white cabinets and stainless steel appliances. The two different styles of brushed nickel handles gave the kitchen character. Crown molding and wainscoting in the surrounding areas also added personality to the space. Mrs. Walker was very happy with the outcome and Mr. Walker was happy that his wife was happy. All in all, it was a great remodel for us all.
